Our Approach

Friar Genealogical Research, LLC wants our website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a reference when we design and update the site. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we do not claim that every page fully meets those guidelines. We review the site for accessibility when we make changes to it.

 

Charts and Diagrams

Genealogical and DNA research relies on kinship charts, DNA match diagrams, and pedigree charts, which are visual by nature and can be hard to use for some visitors. Where we publish them on the website, we aim to include a text description. On request, we will also provide a plain-text description, a data summary, or a phone conversation that explains the information in the chart.

 

Third-Party Content

Some features of the website, such as embedded media, maps, or forms, may come from third-party providers whose code we do not control. If you have trouble using one of them, let us know and we will try to give you the same information another way.
